EUSR - CCTV (Certified Drain Surveyor Course Domestic)

The M D Services EUSR Certified Drain Surveyors course (CDS) is a two-day intensive training program either online or classroom designed for CCTV operatives, local authorities, housing associations, surveyors and facility management companies covering domestic drain investigations The course has been designed in conjunction with  Water Research Commission (WRC) and is fully compliant with the Domestic Drain Code section of the Manual of Sewer Condition Classification 5th Edition (MSCC5).

Course Details

• Duration: 2 x Days.
• Content: Adheres to the Domestic Drain Code (MSCC 5th Edition), covering practical skills for CCTV investigations, reporting, and industry standards.
• Goal: To equip operatives to produce accurate, professional survey reports & for others to understand the report.

The EUSR  (MDS) 2 x day approved training course (Remote or classroom) will provide CCTV operatives & others with the ability to fully understand the practical aspects of a CCTV investigation, the ability to accurately identify defects, apply the correct codes and to make a condition assessment of the pipe with an appropriate repair recommendation. This course includes domestic and commercial surveys which also includes schools, colleges, hospitals, housing estates, industrial estates and private drainage systems up to 9″ or 225mm diameter.

It has become more obvious that there is a need in the drainage industry for companies carrying out domestic and light commercial CCTV Surveys to prove their competence in the area of CCTV investigation through a recognised qualification.
